In addition, Girvan works to support the development of the NASA Research Park (NRP), Moffett Federal Airfield, in California. Girvan is currently looking for business partnerships with technology focused Media such Red Herring and other potential organizations to support their mission. To concretize this initiative Girvan needs a middleware tool able to access its potential partner’s databases. This tool has to be able to federate databases independently to their technology, their structure or their content. Two options are evaluated to fulfill these requirements: Finally, the selected option will be integrated in a web application prototype called GRDAS (Girvan Relationship Database Access System) in order to promote the partnership initiative.
